Halved umbrella is the reinterpretation of a classic umbrella. The special shape allows to place the pole next to the wall, so that once closed, the umbrella does not take up space. In the model 2×2 m the pole can be placed in a corner, therefore is ideal for those with limited space. It is suitable for use in both contract (hotels, bars and restaurants …) and residential settings (homes, balconies and private gardens). The ribs can be replaced individually without dismantling the structure and the cover can be easily removed for maintenance or replacement. The frame is made of aluminium and the hardware of stainless steel for superb durability. Pulley operated for easy opening. The Wall can be supplied with a base dedicated to its particular shape. All FIM Products are designed and made in Italy using the finest materials for outdoor use ensuring long life even under the harshest environmental conditions.

The colour added while the fibre is produced gives the fabric high resistance to UV rays, even in “aggressive” environments with chlorine and salt. The colours do not fade and stay stable for a long time, and the fabric also resists moisture. A specific treatment makes it water-repellent and protects it from stains. Regular brushing keeps its original appeal unchanged. UPF 50+ (UV Protection Factor).

The micro-mesh structure allows natural air circulation while creating pleasant shade. The composition of the fibres ensures colour fastness and resistance to moisture for a long time. Regular cleaning with soap and water keeps the fabric in good condition.
Airfim fabric - total water resistence (190 g/m²).
The fabric coating combined with special stitching guarantees total rain protection and stops rain from passing through the seams. A stain treatment ensures high resistance to dirt. UPF 80 (UV Protection Factor).

Frame colours
The materials used have been specifically selected and treated to maintain our product's durability and consistency over time. The lumber we source is the best available to guarantee the structural integrity and strength of the product. As wood is a ”living” material that reacts to changes in temperature and humidity, it may show gaps or imperfections, which are not defects. They do not alter its resistance qualities, but rather witness its continuous vitality. The aluminium profiles are powder coated or anodised to ensure long durability. The colours shown may differ from the actual colours.
