Arne Jacobsen designed Charlottenborg in 1936. The elegant curved back blends into the armrests, and both are neatly joined to the base. The lounge chair and sofas take a firm seat cushion and loose back cushions, sold separately. Charlottenborg suits the home as well as hotels and restaurants. Sika-Design uses carefully selected Indonesian rattan. Unlike hollow bamboo, rattan is solid, so the furniture is strong and lasts for generations. It belongs to the ICONS collection, in which Sika-Design brings back designs by renowned designers in close cooperation with their descendants.
