Arne Jacobsen designed Charlottenborg in 1936. The elegant curved back blends into the armrests, and both are neatly joined to the base. The lounge chair and sofas take a firm seat cushion and loose back cushions, which you can add right on this page. Charlottenborg suits the home as well as hotels and restaurants. Sika-Design uses carefully selected Indonesian rattan. Unlike hollow bamboo, rattan is solid, so the furniture is strong and lasts for generations. It belongs to the ICONS collection, in which Sika-Design brings back designs by renowned designers in close cooperation with their descendants.
Under “Cushion” on this page you can choose a seat cushion, a back cushion or both, with the fabric. The price shown first is without a cushion. The cushions are also sold as separate products: Sika-Design Charlottenborg seat cushion for 3-seater sofa and Sika-Design Charlottenborg back cushion for 3-seater sofa. In the same collection you also find Sika-Design Charlottenborg lounge chair, Sika-Design Charlottenborg 2-seater sofa and Sika-Design Charlottenborg coffee table.
You find every piece of the collection in Charlottenborg and the full range in Indoor furniture.
