Sika-Design Paris lounge chair
Arne Jacobsen designed the Paris lounge chair in 1929, and it was his first chair. It is handmade from rattan in polished natural. The seat is low at 34 cm and the chair is 105 cm deep.

Arne Jacobsen designed the Paris lounge chair in 1929. It was his first chair, made before he graduated as an architect. It changed the history of wicker furniture. Skilled wicker makers make it by hand from Indonesian rattan. Sika-Design uses carefully selected Indonesian rattan. Unlike hollow bamboo, rattan is solid, so the furniture is strong and lasts for generations. It belongs to the ICONS collection, in which Sika-Design brings back designs by renowned designers in close cooperation with their descendants.
