Viggo Boesen designed Teddy in 1936. He was one of the best designers of the golden age of Danish design. Teddy is his take on the popular wing chair of the mid-19th century. Its shape recalls a teddy bear hug, which gave it its name and describes the feeling when you lean back. The matching stool completes the lounge chair. Sika-Design only uses the two best rattan qualities, Tohiti and Manau. It belongs to the ICONS collection, in which Sika-Design brings back designs by renowned designers in close cooperation with their descendants.
A seat cushion is sold separately: Sika-Design Teddy seat cushion. In the same collection you also find Sika-Design Teddy lounge chair.
You find every piece of the collection in Teddy and the full range in Indoor furniture.
