Henrik Pedersen designed the Amba collection. Born in 1967, he designs furniture, lighting and decoration and brings Danish craftsmanship together with a modern, international view. He calls a design finished only when it is “absolutely right”. Amba is built on organic shapes and works indoors and outdoors. Every piece is an independent module, so you can arrange the pieces in many ways. The collection has two versions with different backrests: Amba Essence with full, generous upholstery and Amba Woven with a rope backrest. Coffee tables and tables with porcelain or HPL tops complete the range. The name comes from two words: “ambience”, for a relaxed and welcoming mood, and “amoeba”, for its fluid, adaptable shape.
Under “Cushion fabric” on this page you choose the cushion version. You can choose the piece without cushions, foam only (no fabric), your own fabric (COM) or a fabric group from G2 to G4. The groups hold 52 fabrics in total: G2 (29 fabrics), G3 (7) and G4 (16). The group sets the price. After you choose the group, write the fabric code from the fabric chart below in the order note. The fabric you choose covers all cushions of the piece. The first price you see is the cheapest option, without cushions. For your own fabric you need 6.9 m. The waterproof liner is always included.
The frame comes in two versions at the same price: 34 Mineral White with rope 28 Sandstone or 56 Gunmetal Grey with rope 29 Graphite. Pick yours from the colour chart below and write it in the order note. Under “Protective cover” you choose “Without protective cover” or “With protective cover”. The first price shown is without the cover. The cover is beige polyester with an acrylic lacquer and it is waterproof. Point recommends 1 deco cushion 40 x 40 cm for this module. Under “Deco cushions” you choose “Without deco cushions” or “With the recommended deco cushions”. The deco cushions come in the same fabric as the other cushions of the piece. The fabric code in your order note applies to them too. Their price depends on your choice under “Cushion fabric”. If you choose foam only, the deco cushions are foam only too.
You find every piece of the collection in Amba Woven and the full Point range in Outdoor furniture.
