Point Weave sofa 2
The Weave 2-seater sofa has a powder-coated aluminium frame, hand-woven with 8 mm rope. The rope has a protective coating against UV rays. The shape is rounded, with soft lines. You choose a taupe grey frame with taupe rope or a mineral white frame with nougat rope.

Vicent Martínez (Valencia, 1949) designed the Weave collection. It came out in 2017 and is Point's most awarded collection. Its awards include the International Interior Design Association's 2018 Global Excellence Awards, the Gold Medal at the Ibero-American Biennial CIDI for Interior, Design and Landscape, and the ADCV GOLD Award for Outdoor Furniture in 2017. Martínez took his cue from the nests of baya weaver birds. Each piece is made by hand, strand by strand. The collection has 27 pieces with a powder-coated aluminium frame and the typical rope weave. The newest are a dining chair, a round table base woven in rope and a planter you can also use as a pouf or a table. Martínez has won many awards, among them the 1997 National Design Award. His work follows the aesthetics of necessity, down to the smallest detail.
Under “Cushion fabric” on this page you choose the cushion version. You can have no cushions, foam only (no fabric), your own fabric (COM) or a fabric group from G1 to G4. The groups hold 56 fabrics in total: G1 (4 fabrics), G2 (29), G3 (7) and G4 (16). The group sets the price. After you choose the group, write the fabric code from the fabric chart below in the order note. The fabric you choose covers all cushions of the piece. The first price you see is the cheapest option, without cushions. For your own fabric you need 5.5 m. Under “Waterproof liner” you choose whether the cushions get a waterproof liner. The frame comes in two versions at the same price: 60 Taupe Grey with rope 21 Taupe or 34 Mineral White with rope 20 Nougat. Pick yours from the frame colour chart below and write it in the order note. Under “Protective cover” you choose “Without protective cover” or “With protective cover”. The first price shown is without the cover. The cover is beige polyester with an acrylic lacquer and it is waterproof.
