Burda Infraswift is a compact carbon infrared heater made especially for mounting under a parasol. It weighs only 1 kg and is quick to install.
The shell is black nylon reinforced with glass fibre and cools quickly, so you can fold the parasol soon after switching off. The surface stays relatively cool for the heat output, which gives you more freedom where to place it. With IP65 it works in almost any environment.
Inside is a carbon lamp with soft, yellow-orange light and a polished reflector. The filament reaches 700 °C. The protective grille is galvanised steel. You switch the heater on and off with the switch on the heater.
Frico rule of thumb: 600 to 800 W per m² raises the felt temperature by about 10 °C. If the area only has a roof, install at least 800 W/m². With three walls, 600 W/m² is enough. Comfort is best when the heat comes from at least two directions.
Mount Infraswift on a wall, a post or under a parasol. The wall bracket is in the box and you angle the heater in several fixed positions. For a post or the ribs of a parasol choose the Burda INSP parasol clamp. Recommended height: 1.8 to 2.5 m. The heater has a 1.9 m cord with plug for an earthed socket.
