The Robert chair was designed in 1901 by Robert W., known today as the pioneer of rattan furniture making. With solid craft and by testing the limits of the material, he set the course for how rattan furniture is made today. The chair brings a natural touch to the dining room, conservatory or holiday cottage. The fine, detailed windings in the seat and back are made on a rattan frame. Sika-Design uses carefully selected Indonesian rattan. Unlike hollow bamboo, rattan is solid, so the furniture is strong and lasts for generations. It belongs to the ICONS collection, in which Sika-Design brings back designs by renowned designers in close cooperation with their descendants.
