Nanna Ditzel designed the Nanny rocking chair in 1969. It was never made until Sika-Design launched it in February 2013 at the Stockholm Furniture Fair. Skilled wicker workers make the fine bindings in the seat and back by hand. It brings a natural touch to the living room or holiday cottage. Sika-Design uses carefully selected Indonesian rattan. Unlike hollow bamboo, rattan is solid, so the furniture is strong and lasts for generations. It belongs to the ICONS collection, in which Sika-Design brings back designs by renowned designers in close cooperation with their descendants.
You find every piece of the collection in Nanny and the full range in Indoor furniture.
