Alfonso Gallego (Alicante, 1964) designed the Brumas collection. He took his inspiration from colonial outdoor furniture. He refreshed the classic shapes so they feel more contemporary and fit different settings. Gallego says the collection has a clear identity and a strong presence. The pieces have a lacquered aluminium frame with a traditional weave of Shintotex® fibre. Point developed this fibre. It is recyclable, weather resistant and hard wearing. The collection has a lounge chair, a 2-seater and a 3-seater sofa. Gallego is a designer, decorator and interior designer and has worked with Point for more than twenty years.
Under “Cushion fabric” on this page you choose the cushion version. You can choose the piece without cushions, foam only (no fabric), your own fabric (COM) or a fabric group from G1 to G4. The groups hold 56 fabrics in total: G1 (4 fabrics), G2 (29), G3 (7) and G4 (16). The group sets the price. After you choose the group, write the fabric code from the fabric chart below in the order note. The fabric you choose covers all cushions of the piece. The first price you see is the cheapest option, without cushions. For your own fabric you need 3.4 m. Under “Waterproof liner” you choose “Without waterproof liner” or “With waterproof liner”. The first price shown is without the liner.
The Shintotex® weave comes in 36 Ivory and 03 Toasted. Pick the colour from the colour chart below and write it in the order note. Under “Protective cover” you choose “Without protective cover” or “With protective cover”. The first price shown is without the cover. The cover is beige polyester with an acrylic lacquer and it is waterproof. Point recommends 1 deco cushion 40 x 40 cm for this lounge chair. Under “Deco cushions” you choose “Without deco cushions” or “With the recommended deco cushions”. The deco cushions come in the same fabric as the other cushions of the piece. The fabric code in your order note applies to them too. Their price depends on your choice under “Cushion fabric”. If you choose foam only, the deco cushions are foam only too.
You find every piece of the collection in Brumas and the full Point range in Outdoor furniture.
