Point Charleston dining armchair
The Charleston dining armchair has a lacquered aluminium frame covered with a 6 mm Shintotex® Flat Oval braid. The braid creates a pattern with movement. The seat cushion in high-resilience 35 kg polyurethane foam is optional.

Alfonso Gallego designed the Charleston collection. The glamour of the cruise ships of the Roaring Twenties inspired it. Gallego says the biggest challenge was to adapt the structure and the fabric to the fibre that covers the piece. The Shintotex® braid creates a pattern with movement and covers the aluminium frame. Shintotex® is a strong, recyclable fibre developed by Point.
Alfonso Gallego (Alicante, 1964) is a designer, decorator and interior designer who has worked with Point for more than two decades. His long career in furniture design and his projects around the world have made him an expert in functional pieces and spaces.

The groups hold 56 fabrics in total: G1 (4 fabrics), G2 (29), G3 (7) and G4 (16). The group sets the price. After you choose the group, write the fabric code from the fabric chart below in the order note. The first price you see is the cheapest option, without a cushion. For your own fabric you need 1.2 m.
