Francesc Rifé designed the Pal collection. In his words it is an architectural piece made of several modules that you can put together in endless ways. The base is a platform of solid teak from sustainably managed forests. Hidden, adjustable legs lift it slightly off the ground, and the seats and cushions sit on top. Rifé says the result looks like a sinuous block that almost floats. With the modules you build sun loungers, sofas or single seats, in a wide choice of waterproof fabrics and colours. Teak tables in different sizes complete the collection.
Francesc Rifé (Barcelona, 1969) is a designer and interior designer who stands for rationalism and detail. You find his minimalist, warm style in offices, hotels, shops and restaurants. His work with chef Ricard Camarena in Valencia is especially well known.
Under “Cushion fabric” on this page you choose the cushion version. The options are: no cushions, foam only (no fabric), your own fabric (COM) and the fabric groups G1 to G4. The groups hold 56 fabrics in total: G1 (4 fabrics), G2 (29), G3 (7) and G4 (16). The group sets the price. After you choose the group, write the fabric code from the fabric chart below in the order note. The fabric you choose covers all cushions of the piece. The first price you see is the cheapest option, without cushions. For your own fabric you need 7.8 m. The waterproof liner is always included. The frame comes in one version: a Natural Teak platform with legs in 56 Gunmetal Grey. You do not need to pick a colour. Under “Protective cover” you choose “Without protective cover” or “With protective cover”. The first price shown is without the cover. The cover is beige polyester with an acrylic lacquer and it is waterproof. Point recommends 1 deco cushion 50 x 50 cm for this module. Under “Deco cushions” you choose “Without deco cushions” or “With the recommended deco cushions”. The deco cushions come in the same fabric as the seat cushions. The fabric code in your order note applies to them too. Their price depends on your choice under “Cushion fabric”. If you choose foam only, the deco cushions are foam only too.
