Francesc Rifé designed the Pal collection. In his words it is an architectural piece made of several modules that you can put together in endless ways. The base is a platform of solid teak from sustainably managed forests. Hidden, adjustable legs lift it slightly off the ground, and the seats and cushions sit on top. Rifé says the result looks like a sinuous block that almost floats. With the modules you build sun loungers, sofas or single seats, in a wide choice of waterproof fabrics and colours. Teak tables in different sizes complete the collection.
Francesc Rifé (Barcelona, 1969) is a designer and interior designer who stands for rationalism and detail. You find his minimalist, warm style in offices, hotels, shops and restaurants. His work with chef Ricard Camarena in Valencia is especially well known.
The table comes in one version: a Natural Teak top with legs in 56 Gunmetal Grey. You do not need to pick a colour. Under “Protective cover” you choose “Without protective cover” or “With protective cover”. The first price shown is without the cover. The cover is beige polyester with an acrylic lacquer and it is waterproof.
