The Paralel 3-seater sofa has a frame in grade A natural teak from carefully managed forests in Indonesia. Seat and back cushions in high-resilience 35 kg polyurethane foam are comfortable and durable. You choose the cushion fabric from groups G1 to G4 or use your own fabric.

Gabriel Teixidó (Barcelona, 1947) designed the Paralel collection. In his words, wood is a living material that connects well with people and gives warmth. The chairs, armchairs, sofas and tables are robust yet soft. They combine Indonesian teak from carefully managed forests with synthetic rope. A sun lounger, a side table and an extendable table complete the collection. The pieces are made for gardens, terraces and porches and fit easily indoors too. Teixidó calls it a human collection that sits well in natural surroundings.
Teixidó has worked as an industrial designer for more than three decades and has won several awards, among them ADI-FAD and SIDI awards. He is known for austere designs without any showing off. Many of his pieces have become classics that stay clear of passing trends.

The groups hold 56 fabrics in total: G1 (4 fabrics), G2 (29), G3 (7) and G4 (16). The group sets the price. The cover is beige polyester with an acrylic lacquer and it is waterproof. Point recommends 3 deco cushions 40 x 40 cm for this sofa. Under “Deco cushions” you choose “Without deco cushions” or “With the recommended deco cushions”. The deco cushions come in the same fabric as the seat cushions. The fabric code in your order note applies to them too. Their price depends on your choice under “Cushion fabric”. If you choose foam only, the deco cushions are foam only too.
