Alfonso Gallego designed the Arena collection. It draws on memories of the past and Mediterranean summers, which Gallego sees as the start of a new stage. Arena aims for comfort and ease, with classic lines that recall the silhouettes of the 1960s. The aluminium frame carries Point's traditional weave in Shintotex®, a recyclable fibre. The cushions are durable polyurethane foam. The collection has a lounge chair, a 2-seater and a 3-seater sofa, a coffee table, a side table and an ottoman. Alfonso Gallego (Alicante, 1964) is a designer, decorator and interior designer. He has worked with Point for more than two decades.
Under “Cushion fabric” on this page you choose the cushion version. You can order the piece without cushions, with foam only (no fabric), in your own fabric (COM) or in a fabric from the groups G1 to G4. The groups hold 56 fabrics in total: G1 (4 fabrics), G2 (29), G3 (7) and G4 (16). The group sets the price. After you choose the group, write the fabric code from the fabric chart below in the order note. The fabric you choose covers all cushions of the piece. The first price you see is the cheapest option, without cushions. For your own fabric you need 2 m. Under “Waterproof liner” you choose “Without waterproof liner” or “With waterproof liner”. The first price shown is without the liner. The weave comes in two colours: 36 Ivory and 03 Toasted. Pick yours from the colour chart below and write it in the order note. Under “Protective cover” you choose “Without protective cover” or “With protective cover”. The first price shown is without the cover. The cover is beige polyester with an acrylic lacquer and it is waterproof. Point recommends 1 deco cushion 40 x 40 cm for this lounge chair. Under “Deco cushions” you choose “Without deco cushions” or “With the recommended deco cushions”. The deco cushions come in the same fabric as the seat cushions. The fabric code in your order note applies to them too. Their price depends on your choice under “Cushion fabric”. If you choose foam only, the deco cushions are foam only too.
The other pieces of the collection: Point Arena sofa 2, Point Arena sofa 3, Point Arena ottoman, Point Arena rectangular coffee table, Point Arena square side table.
