Francesc Rifé designed the Hamp collection. He worked out a technically complex process to reach its neo-minimalist look. The teak, from sustainably managed forests, was turned as if it were a metal tube and then bent. The wooden frame holds a tensioned technical fabric that forms the seat and back, and the cushions rest on it. The result is generously sized pieces. The collection has a dining armchair, a lounge chair and a 2-seater sofa. Francesc Rifé (Barcelona, 1969) is a designer and interior designer who stands for rationalism and detail. His minimalist, warm style shows in offices, hotels, shops and restaurants. His work with chef Ricard Camarena in Valencia is especially well known.
Under “Cushion fabric” on this page you choose the cushion version. The options are without cushions, foam only (no fabric), your own fabric (COM) and the fabric groups G1 to G4. The groups hold 56 fabrics in total: G1 (4 fabrics), G2 (29), G3 (7) and G4 (16). The group sets the price. After you choose the group, write the fabric code from the fabric chart below in the order note. The fabric you choose covers all cushions of the piece. The first price you see is the cheapest option, without cushions. For your own fabric you need 2.9 m. Under “Waterproof liner” you choose “Without waterproof liner” or “With waterproof liner”. The first price shown is without the liner.
The frame is natural teak. The Batyline fabric for the seat and back comes in colour 13, 09, 10 or 11. Write the Batyline colour in the order note.
Under “Protective cover” you choose “Without protective cover” or “With protective cover”. The first price shown is without the cover. The cover is beige polyester with an acrylic lacquer and it is waterproof. Point recommends 1 deco cushion 50 x 50 cm for this lounge chair. Under “Deco cushions” you choose “Without deco cushions” or “With the recommended deco cushions”. The deco cushions come in the same fabric as the seat cushions. The fabric code in your order note applies to them too. Their price depends on your choice under “Cushion fabric”. If you choose foam only, the deco cushions are foam only too.
You find every piece of the collection in Hamp and the full Point range in Outdoor furniture.
