This solid teak base lets the Hive chair stand on the ground. The teak lends a warm touch to the design.

The Hive chair shell sits on the base. You can also hang the chair on the Hive rope instead. Untreated teak gets a silver grey patina over time. To keep the warm golden-brown colour, Cane-line recommends its Teak Care products.
