Burda Term BT is a slim halogen infrared heater with Bluetooth. You control it with the Frico Infra app, the remote control in the box or the button on the heater. It suits balconies and terraces at home and in hospitality.
The heater warms with radiant heat. The heat feels soft and pleasant, and you aim it at the spot where people sit. So you stay outside longer, even when the evening turns cool.
Inside is a halogen lamp with a polished aluminium reflector. The filament reaches up to 2200 °C, so the heater also glows while it runs.
In the Frico Infra app (iOS and Android) you control up to eight heaters, give each one a name and run them one by one or all together. Heat output is stepless. With the timer function the heaters switch off at the time you set. The app reaches up to 15 m.
The infrared remote control in the box sets the heat in 5 steps and works up to 7 m with a clear line of sight. One remote can control several heaters. You can also switch the heater with the button on the housing. A spare remote is available: Burda Term BT remote control BTRC.
Mount the heater horizontally on a wall with the bracket in the box and plug it into an earthed socket. Every version comes with a T-bracket. You set the angle between 35° and 55°. Never mount the heater facing down. Recommended height: 1.8 to 3 m on a wall, 1.8 to 3 m on a ceiling. Keep at least 1.5 m between the front grille and flammable materials.
For the ceiling, choose the Burda Term BCDF ceiling bracket in the colour of your heater. Under an awning you use the Burda Term MB4040 awning bracket or the Burda Term MB40402 awning bracket, 200 mm. To mount the heater high, for example above a window, choose the Burda IHXH pipe hanging bracket, high. For a low position, for example on a windbreak, choose the Burda IHXL pipe hanging bracket, low. For a simple timer, add the Burda CBT timer. Spare part: Burda Term T-bracket.
