Burda Term IP67 is a halogen infrared heater for terraces, balconies and restaurant patios. With IP67 protection it gives full heat even in damp outdoor conditions.

The heater warms with radiant heat. The heat feels soft and pleasant, and you aim it at the spot where people sit. So you stay outside longer, even when the evening turns cool.

Inside is a halogen lamp with a polished aluminium reflector. The filament reaches up to 2200 °C, so the heater also glows while it runs.

For control, add the Burda CBT timer (½, 1, 2 or 4 hours, or 4, 8, 15 or 24 hours with the switches inside), the Burda IHBD3 comfort controller BT (app or remote control) or a motion detector, Burda BPIR4 motion detector or Burda BPIR6 motion detector. The detector switches the heater on only when people are present.

Mount the heater horizontally on a wall with the bracket in the box and plug it into an earthed socket. The black, grey and white versions come with a T-bracket, the polished aluminium versions with an L-bracket. You set the angle between 35° and 55°. Never mount the heater facing down. Recommended height: 1.8 to 2.5 m on a wall, 2 to 3 m on a ceiling. Keep at least 1.5 m between the front grille and flammable materials.

For the ceiling, choose the Burda Term BCDF ceiling bracket in the colour of your heater. Under an awning (heaters with a T-bracket) you use the Burda Term MB4040 awning bracket or the Burda Term MB40402 awning bracket, 200 mm. To mount the heater high, for example above a window, choose the Burda IHXH pipe hanging bracket, high. For a low position, for example on a windbreak, choose the Burda IHXL pipe hanging bracket, low. Spare parts: Burda Term L-bracket, aluminium, Burda Term T-bracket and Burda Term spare lamp.
