Michel Buffet designed the Pacifique lounge chair in 1954. Its original name was Relaxation chair, and the big embracing seat invites exactly that. It was shown in 1954 at a festival of French design at Galeries Lafayette in Paris, and the architect André Wogenscky, an assistant of Le Corbusier, bought the original. The Exterior version is handmade from aluminium and ArtFibre.
