Franco Albini and Franca Helg designed the Luella mirror, first made in Italy in the 1950s. Rattan and the curved geometric pattern make it as decorative as it is useful. Skilled wicker makers make it by hand from Indonesian rattan. Once steamed, rattan can be shaped by hand with old techniques and a few simple tools. Sika-Design only uses the two best rattan qualities, Tohiti and Manau. It belongs to the ICONS collection, in which Sika-Design brings back designs by renowned designers in close cooperation with their descendants.
