Vicent Martínez (Valencia, 1949) designed the Weave collection. It came out in 2017 and is Point's most awarded collection. Its awards include the International Interior Design Association's 2018 Global Excellence Awards, the Gold Medal at the Ibero-American Biennial CIDI for Interior, Design and Landscape, and the ADCV GOLD Award for Outdoor Furniture in 2017. Martínez took his cue from the nests of baya weaver birds. Each piece is made by hand, strand by strand. The collection has 27 pieces with a powder-coated aluminium frame and the typical rope weave. The newest are a dining chair, a round table base woven in rope and a planter you can also use as a pouf or a table. Martínez has won many awards, among them the 1997 National Design Award. His work follows the aesthetics of necessity, down to the smallest detail.

Under “Top size” on this page you choose the size of the top: 70 x 70 cm, Ø 70 cm, 80 x 80 cm, Ø 80 cm or Ø 90 cm. If you choose “Without top”, you buy the base only. The first price you see is for the base without a top, the cheapest option. Under “Table top” you then choose the top material: HPL, natural teak, porcelain or TechTeak. The 80 x 80 cm and Ø 90 cm sizes come with an HPL top only. HPL comes in 6 colours. Porcelain comes in 7 colours. Pick the top colour from the top colour chart below and write its code in the order note. Point does not recommend placing tables with porcelain tops together, because contact or rubbing can chip the edges. For tables that stand together, Point recommends HPL tops.

The frame comes in 34 Mineral White or 56 Gunmetal Grey. Both colours have the same price. Pick the frame colour from the colour chart below and write it in the order note. The Signature frame colours (70, 67, 72, 76, 64, 73, 66, 68, 59) are available on request, min. 10 units in one finish. Point charges extra for them and the delivery time is longer. Under “Protective cover” you choose “Without protective cover” or “With protective cover”. The first price shown is without the cover. The cover is beige polyester with an acrylic lacquer and it is waterproof.
