Burda Darkztrip is a powerful infrared panel heater in black anodised aluminium. It heats without visible light, so it stays discreet even when switched on.
Darkztrip suits elegant spaces such as shopping centres, exhibition halls and markets. Indoors it heats silently and without air movement, and you can set up zone and spot heating. Outdoors it works in wind-protected areas when you add a suitable control.
The heating panel and back cover are anodised aluminium, the end caps powder-coated aluminium, all in black RAL 9005. The surface reaches up to 340 °C. Darkztrip gives no visible light.
Indoors, when you use Darkztrip as a space heater, the Ecodesign regulation requires a TPT16 thermostat or a Frico FC control system. In our shop you find the Burda TPT16 electronic thermostat. The 400 V versions also need the RB3 relay box for control with TPT16. For outdoor use with a remote control and three heat steps, choose the Burda Darkztrip Dimmer infrared panel heater.
Mount the panel on the ceiling with the brackets in the box. Wall mounting works but heats less efficiently. You tilt the panel in several fixed positions. Mounting height: 2.3 to 15 m indoors, 2.3 to 3.5 m outdoors. Every Darkztrip has a 3 m cord without a plug for a fixed connection.
To hang the panel lower, choose the Burda Darkztrip DKZEB extension brackets. To mount two panels side by side, choose the Burda Darkztrip DKZTB twin brackets.
