Burda Darkztrip Dimmer is the outdoor version of the Darkztrip panel heater. It comes with a remote control and runs at 1/3, 2/3 or full power.
It is made for wind-protected outdoor areas. The panel heats without visible light, so it stays discreet even when switched on. IP55 lets you use it in almost any environment.
The heating panel and back cover are anodised aluminium, the end caps powder-coated aluminium, all in black RAL 9005. The surface reaches up to 340 °C. Darkztrip gives no visible light.
The remote control sets three heat steps and can switch several heaters at once. After a restart the heater returns to the last setting. The remote runs on one 12 V A23 battery, included.
Indoors you can use the Dimmer where the Ecodesign regulation does not apply. For space heating indoors choose the Burda Darkztrip infrared panel heater with a TPT16 thermostat.
Mount the panel on the ceiling with the brackets in the box. Wall mounting works but heats less efficiently. You tilt the panel in several fixed positions. Mounting height: 2.3 to 15 m indoors, 2.3 to 3.5 m outdoors. The 1500, 1800 and 2400 W versions have a 1.9 m cord with plug for an earthed socket. The 3200 W version has a 3 m cord without a plug for a fixed connection.
To hang the panel lower, choose the Burda Darkztrip DKZEB extension brackets. To mount two panels side by side, choose the Burda Darkztrip DKZTB twin brackets.
