The blackboard wall with climbing holds closes a LEVA bay and turns it into a play surface. The front is 18 mm outdoor plywood finished with blackboard paint and fitted with six climbing holds, and the back is 9 mm black outdoor plywood. The frame is larch treated with colourless oil.

About the LEVA system
LEVA is a modular system built from a basic cube and accessories. At home it becomes a children's playroom with a climbing wall, a resting corner with a hanging bed, a dining area of several joined cubes or an outdoor kitchen with herb planters. Companies use it for outdoor offices, festival pergolas, exhibition spaces and cinemas. The structural beams are larch or acacia, the steel joints are galvanised and powder coated, and the textiles and outdoor parts resist weather and need little maintenance. The walls close individual bays of a cube and decide where the space stays open and where it is screened.
