Burda Term Multi is a powerful halogen infrared heater for large outdoor areas. Two or three lamps sit in one polished aluminium housing. With IP67 it gives heat even in the rain.

Two lamps give 3.3 kW or 4 kW in a long, slim housing. Three lamps give 6 kW in a shorter, taller housing. Each lamp has a soft glow and its own polished aluminium reflector. The filament reaches up to 2200 °C.

The heater warms with radiant heat. The heat feels soft and pleasant, and you aim it at the spot where people sit. So you stay outside longer, even when the evening turns cool.

Term Multi comes with a 1.1 m cord without a plug. A qualified electrician connects it: 400 V 2N~ (2× 230 V) for the two-lamp versions, 400 V 3N~ for the three-lamp version.

For energy-saving control use a motion detector. The Burda BPIR4 motion detector switches up to 4000 W. The Burda BPIR6 motion detector switches up to 6000 W and also keeps the heater on for a time you set between 1 and 60 minutes.

Mount the heater horizontally on a wall with the L-bracket in the box. You set the angle between 35° and 55°. Never mount it facing down. Recommended height: 2 to 3.5 m on a wall, 2.5 to 5 m on a ceiling, and at least 2 m above the ground (6 kW: 2.5 m). Keep at least 1.5 m between the front grille and flammable materials (6 kW: 2 m).
