The Paralel chaise has a frame in grade A natural teak with FSC® certification. The backrest reclines and the wheels make the chaise easy to move. The right arm is a separate product: Point Paralel right arm for chaise.

Gabriel Teixidó (Barcelona, 1947) designed the Paralel collection. In his words, wood is a living material that connects well with people and gives warmth. The chairs, armchairs, sofas and tables are robust yet soft. They combine Indonesian teak from carefully managed forests with synthetic rope. A sun lounger, a side table and an extendable table complete the collection. The pieces are made for gardens, terraces and porches and fit easily indoors too. Teixidó calls it a human collection that sits well in natural surroundings.
Teixidó has worked as an industrial designer for more than three decades and has won several awards, among them ADI-FAD and SIDI awards. He is known for austere designs without any showing off. Many of his pieces have become classics that stay clear of passing trends.
Under “Cushion fabric” on this page you choose the cushion version. You can order without cushions or choose foam only (no fabric), your own fabric (COM) or a fabric group from G1 to G4. The groups hold 56 fabrics in total: G1 (4 fabrics), G2 (29), G3 (7) and G4 (16). The group sets the price. After you choose the group, write the fabric code from the fabric chart below in the order note. The fabric you choose covers all cushions of the piece. The first price you see is the cheapest option, without cushions. For your own fabric you need 3.3 m. Under “Waterproof liner” you choose “Without waterproof liner” or “With waterproof liner”. The first price shown is without the liner. The frame is always natural teak. Under “Protective cover” you choose “Without protective cover” or “With protective cover”. The first price shown is without the cover. The cover is beige polyester with an acrylic lacquer and it is waterproof. The right arm is not included.
