Burda Infraflex is a light, versatile infrared heater. It gives soft heat the moment you switch it on and cools down quickly after.

Infraflex heats only the spot or zone you need, which makes it a good choice for events and patios. With IP55 you can use it in almost any environment. It warms people and objects directly, not the air.

Inside is a halogen quartz lamp with soft, yellow light and a polished reflector. The casing is aluminium, the ends black nylon reinforced with glass fibre, colour black RAL 9005. Frico expects about 5000 hours of lamp life when the heater hangs freely outdoors.

You switch it on and to standby with the remote control in the box or with the push button on the heater. One remote can control several heaters. The remote runs on two LR1 batteries, included.

Frico rule of thumb: 600 to 800 W per m² raises the felt temperature by about 10 °C. If the area only has a roof, install at least 800 W/m². With three walls, 600 W/m² is enough. Comfort is best when the heat comes from at least two directions.

Mount Infraflex directly on a wall, on chains from the ceiling, on a hinged arm from the wall or on a post. Wall brackets and two 0.5 m chains are in the box. You angle the heater in several fixed positions. Recommended height: 1.8 to 2.5 m on a wall, 2 to 3 m on a ceiling. The heater has a 1.9 m cord with plug for an earthed socket.
