About the Picnik collection

Picnik was born from a single flat sheet of aluminium, cut and folded with zero waste. Designer Dirk Wynants and aluminium bending artist Xavier Lust created something that sits at the intersection of art and function. Strategic incisions and precise curves give it remarkable strength, a comfortable seat and an iconic shape that has stood the test of time since 2002.

Extremis Picnik was born from a single flat sheet of aluminium, cut and folded with zero waste. Strategic incisions and precise curves give it strength and a comfortable seat, while the curves also drain water naturally. The sloping legs let you stack several units on top of each other.
