Egoe Life

Egoé Life is a Czech collection of furniture for the terrace, garden and pool. Frames in aluminium or zinc-coated and powder-coated steel, seats and tops in robinia, thermo-ash, jatoba, HPL or Batyline mesh. Choose a collection below.

Subcategories

Alva

Lie down in the morning on an Alva and the day can pass without you getting up. The collection is made for long rest, with a light aluminium frame you can move with one hand as the sun turns. Seats come in solid wood or in Batyline outdoor mesh, and both handle sun, rain and quick temperature changes. David Karásek and Radek Hegmon kept the lines plain and put the colour into the armrests.

Axis

Axis looks plain at first and rewards a second look. The sides are drawn past the seat and the rear legs lean back, which gives the chairs their stance and keeps them steady. Vertical and horizontal slats meet at the corners, so an affordable, practical piece gets a face of its own. Frames are zinc-coated steel with a powder finish, seats and tops are solid wood, and chairs and benches stack.

Back to fire

A flame makes an evening better, and the Back to fire series is built around that. Atelier Pelcl drew grills, firepits and pot sets for grilling, cooking, roasting or simply warming your hands. The bodies are steel with a fire-resistant finish and the grates are stainless steel. Legs and prep boards are solid wood, and the pot set adds a steel tripod with a cast iron pot and an enamel lid.

Barka

Barka is a modular outdoor collection from the Egoé studio. Steel and solid wood meet in open angles and long frames made for sitting a while. The steel is zinc-coated and powder-coated, the backrests use Batyline outdoor mesh, and the seats come in wooden slats or Batyline. Armchairs, stools and benches for two or three people combine into the group you need.

Bistrot

Bistrot is a light and mobile series by David Karásek and Radek Hegmon. Stools, benches and tables share a frame of zinc-coated steel with a powder coating. Tops come in solid wood or high-pressure laminate, and most pieces stack, so a terrace clears quickly. The bar table and the bar stools bring the same look to standing height.

Cabra

Skis and bikes need a place to rest too. Cabra is an outdoor rack with a rubber edge that holds up to 14 pairs of adult skis plus 8 pairs of children's skis, or up to 10 bicycles in the cycling season. Wooden A-shaped side walls are joined by steel reinforcements, and the comb on top has rubber antlers cut for skis over 120 cm. If you want it, the Egoé studio adds a frame for a banner or a personal message.

Cora

Cora is the most versatile Egoé line. The same chair reads well in a city café, in a garden and on a balcony, because the shape stays quiet and the proportions follow everyday use. Tops and seats come in solid wood, HPL or Batyline outdoor mesh, so a whole terrace can be built from one family.

Hope

Hope is a chair that stays simple and still looks the part. It is practical enough for a long business meeting and comfortable enough for an afternoon with family or friends. The Egoé studio built it from zinc-coated, powder-coated steel with seat and backrest in round steel grids. Cushions are available at extra cost, for the seat alone or for seat and back.

Jelen

The Jelen ski stand looks like a deer, and that is exactly the idea. It mounts on a wall and fits ski resorts, restaurants and chalets where floor space is short. The antlers are rubber, so a favourite pair of skis does not get scratched in the stand. Four screws hold it in place.

Laurede

When the Dutch designer Ruud van Eggelen drew Laurede, he had a wide garden in mind, with furniture placed as separate objects. The pieces are substantial and share one line, so a group of them becomes an island of quiet you will not want to leave. This is furniture for the centre of a garden, not for its edge. Frames are zinc-coated steel with a powder finish, seats and tops are solid wood.

Máj

And now something different. Máj came out of Ateliér Pelcl as a counterweight to today's minimalism. Organic steel lines meet floral motifs, and the pieces look as if they were coming to life in front of you. Frames are zinc-coated, powder-coated steel, the padded seats use outdoor foam and outdoor fabric for year-round use, and the table tops are high-pressure laminate.

Mario

Mario is a screen on a heavy steel base. The slats sit apart, so wind passes through instead of pushing the screen over. Three heights and two widths let you shield a smoking corner, a service area or a row of tables.

Moja

Moja answers a simple question. Outdoor seating is usually a compromise between comfort and weather, and Moja gives up neither. DryFeel foam drains, the Batyline backrest breathes and the steel frame is zinc coated under the powder coat. Modules combine into armchairs, two and three seat sofas, a footstool and low tables.

Preva

Preva is furniture for people who know what they want. Rounded steel meets wood in a shape that stays light to look at and heavy to move, which is exactly what a hotel garden needs. The lounger carries two neck bolsters in PUR foam and Batyline mesh, and the armrests are topped with HPL.

Radium

Radium is a short line for people who want a piece and for people who need it. David Karásek and Radek Hegmon drew a wide armchair on a powder-coated aluminium frame with solid wood slats across the seat and the back. One model, three wood species, natural or oiled.

Salto

The Salto collection hangs your coats at the height that suits you. The hooks sit at different levels, so an adult, a taller guest and a child each find their own place. The main structure is zinc coated steel with a powder coated finish. The legs of the coat hanger and the coat stand are solid wood, robinia, thermo ash or jatoba.

Sena

Sena is precise joinery. The tables are built from solid wood, and hidden steel reinforcements keep the frame rigid. There is room for the family and for guests, at 178,5 cm or 222 cm of length. You choose a wooden top, a top with grooves or a top in high pressure laminate.

Spulka

Spulka tables carry thin parallel legs on a round base. The body is all metal, zinc coated and powder coated, so it takes daily use in a busy café. The weight, 12 to 24 kg, holds the table in place, and the round base makes it easy to move. Five sizes cover a low side table, a dining table and a bar table.

Štok

Štok is the first all wood collection from Egoé. Each piece is built from solid boards, two dowels and two wedges, and you assemble it yourself. Flat packing keeps transport small. The wood looks right indoors and holds up outdoors, from a 54 cm stool to a 251 cm dining table.

Tina

Three legs give the Tina collection its balance and its look. Thin steel tubes, zinc coated and powder coated, keep the chairs light at around 8 kg, and the chairs stack. Pick a seat in solid wood or steel grid, add a Dryfeel cushion, and match a table with a wooden, HPL or steel top. Tina works in a garden, on a terrace and in a café.

Accessories

The Egoé accessories let you set the comfort of your furniture yourself. Cushions and pads with Dryfeel outdoor foam soften a seat, headrests support the neck, covers in ULSEDAN fabric protect a sofa over winter. Square and rectangular pillows come with a smooth seam or with piping. Vago bean bags come in five sizes, from 45 x 45 cm to 160 x 140 cm.
